Executive Assistant Team Manager, Engineering Operations

Location: Remote/Flex Hybrid – Office to Cambridge

The Engineering and Product Operations team works to support the Product and Engineering teams to drive the business forward and succeed at scale. By coordinating across all of these functions, We help teams run effectively by streamlining processes, creating best practices across the org, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. As the EA Team Manager you’ll build a collaborative and supportive team environment across the globe, bridging the gap between different teams, ensuring the administrative support function operates at the highest level, and help to drive enablement of programs and events within the Product and Engineering org.

In This Role You’ll Get To

  • Lead a team of Executive Assistants to deliver top-notch administrative support to 40+ executives and their organizations.
  • Create and implement standards and processes to deliver best practices for operational support while improving on existing ones.
  • Work closely with the Chief of Staff to the CTO to ensure the operating system is properly executed, as well support for ad hoc projects.
  • Work closely with the Product Employee Experience (PEX) Manager to oversee successful planning and execution of strategic enablement work, as well as global employee events and programming, including in-person programming enablement in our Cambridge HQ.
  • Drive the strategic direction and operations of the EA team.
  • Manage communications to leadership and internal stakeholders pertaining to relevant operations of the org.
  • Reinforce positive morale, remove barriers for team members, hold a high bar for performance and provide clarity to the broader team and stakeholders.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Experience hiring, leading and building a global team of direct reports
  • Experience working with stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Is opinionated. Has a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across multiple regions and influence leadership
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business need
  • Strong problem solving ability; Strong bias for action and an ability to move fast and iterate

Even Better If You Have

  • Experience working as an Executive Assistant
  • Program management or operations experience
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective

Cash compensation range: 97700-156300 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
